Well, not really.  As you know from my last post, I am having problems with my ISP, not really problems but more like annoyances and in case you don’t know I am the kind of person that when find an annoyance in something I cut contact with that “something” off, or try to avoid it at all cost until it disappears from my life.  So, in reaction for their action I called Adelphia to inquire if they have service on my area…, AND THEY DO!!!!, and now I am making plans to get rid of my NAZI ISP once and for all.  With Adelphia I will get a WHOLE LOT more bandwidth than with these fuckers for a couple of bucks more, well, for $6 more to be exact.  The only problem is that I am currently with a contract with “Those Fuckers” and it wont expire until a couple of months more so I don’t know if I should try Adelphia for a couple of months and that would imply having both services at the same time, I could also wait for a few months knowing that I am paying for an inferior service, or I could just pay for the expenses for terminating the service before the contract expired, with that last option I would feel better because they will know that I cut off their service because of their politics on bandwidth use so I will be making a point, anyway, is not like I would care what their reaction is going to be once I am gone. 

Soooo, what I am going to do?, I still don’t know but whatever it is will happen from tomorrow to next week, In other words, I am thinking about it…

Another thing that is bugging me is that if I don’t do something soon I will no longer have channels to see!, Why is that?, well, lets just say that currently I don’t pay for premium channels and that I have them all.  But my satellite provider is encrypting the satellite signal and that one has not been compromised yet, soooo, now I will  have to subscribe to the premium channels that I see so I wont miss an episode of my favorite series, that’s outrageous!, I mean, making you pay to be able to watch TV!, that’s awful… errmm…. Anyway, the point is that my expenses are increasing little by little and if this keeps on soon my budget will be as limited as before I had a new job.  Been an grown up suck, everything is so fucking complicated!, I wish I could just worry about waking up in the morning to watch the cartoons and then go back to sleep.

Speaking of being a grown up, I have work to do… work…, speaking of work, damn…

This is going to be a little rant, but I need to say it.

I don’t mind about lazy people as long as their laziness does not affect me, so If you want to take “shortcuts” to make your life easier, go ahead.  But never, NEVER do it while you are programming!  Why I say this?, well, non programmers are not going to understand this but I have a co-worker that LOVES to use GOTO’s in his programs.  Ok, programmers can now take a deep breath and release, I know I know and thank you for your condolences.

What is a GOTO?, well, how to say this, how can I compare that with a real world example?.  If using a GOTO were a crime my co-worker would have 50 death sentences per use.  Yeah, it’s that bad.  Why?, well, when you use a fucking goto the execution of the code jumps from one way to the other, to the other, to the other and you can not keep track of what is going on unless you are the one who made the program.  That little word makes maintenance of programs really, REALLY, REALLY difficult if not impossible.

In other words, the guy might be smart, funny and a real nice person to deal with, BUT HE IS A FUCKING MORON!!!! >:-( (Programmatically speaking :)).
