Today(Friday) the FBI supposedly killed the local terrorist and leader of a renegade group called “Los Macheteros” that wants independence for the island by forced means. I am glad they got rid of a scum like that, BUT, I don’t precisely like the day they choose to do that, today (Friday) was the commemoration of the “Grito de Lares”, a day that local independence groups celebrate the failed independence of the island that lasted one day, or less than 18 hours. That day was also the transition between an Spanish government and a US Military government after the hipaniameric war of 1898 ended. My history is kind of rusty so the dates might be wrong, but is something like that.
Anyway, the FBI just made a Martyr for those fucktards that wants independence and that could revive that agonizing movement, morons!

That is when a criminal becomes such a legend that people actually feel sad and angry that law enforcement officials decide to DO THEIR JOB and get rid of criminal scum even if it means mowin’ ‘em down with a rain of bullets. I mean, from what I’ve heard, this guy robbed banks and planted bombs! why are people so outraged? There was this chick at my job that actually started putting on patriotic songs and urging everyone to at least try to mourn his death, and I just couldn’t resist and told the bitch to get over herself. How fucking deluded can you be? Is this island so fucked up that all you have left to look up to are criminals and rappers who sing about being criminals?
I say, Good riddance.
Even though I think it would have been more traumatic to the ancient old fart to leave him alive and let him rot for the rest of his days in jail.
Now, unfortunately, he’ll be a fuckin’ martyr.
