Mediocrity

I will start with my boss, yesterday that moron did an “Windows update” to two servers that are critical to the company’s function, and guess what?, he broke them. That update made the server inoperable. Why in the fucking hell he does not investigate before doing something like that?. Well, that is to be expected because the guy is a salesman that knew a little bit of computers and the company made him a manager, If I had known that before coming to an interview here I would have left the building running and yelling “HELP!!!, HELP!!!”. Because of that I don’t foresee a future on this company, in fact, I am seriously thinking to start sending resumes and get the fuck out here ASAP. And its not just him, is the lack of organization for the projects and the lack of respect for the department in general, everyone in this company believes that programming is as easy as baking a cake. Anyway, more on that some other day.
The other mediocre person is my Multimedia professor. That moron dared to give me an essay on multimedia that speaks of Netscape 3.1 as the latest browser technology…, what the fuck?, sonofabitch!, you are like 10 years late!, can you believe that?, Netscape is obsolete, it has no market share and that fuckhead thinks is the latest thing out there?!?!?! ARGHT!!!!. There are WAY better browsers like Firefox, which is based on Mozilla, and Opera, which is based on mozilla too…, but Netscape 3.1?, thats an insult.
I cant believe I wasted MY money on that stupid course!…,

Te sorprenderias de la cantidad de companias pequenas, medianas y grande que tienen una vision arcaica de lo que es una infraestructura de informatica. Tienen una o dos personas que usualmente no saben casi nada pero lo contratan para no tener que pagar una nomina grande a una persona que si sepa. Lo malo es que cuando danan algo que pudieron haber evitado por desconocimiento, joden la operaciones y alli tienen que contatar a un consultor o compania de apoyo tecnico para que les resuelva. Esto conlleva muchos $$$ y a veces ya es muy tarde.
