I DO wanna get myself a car in the next few months, but I'm quite sure that with a steady income and with as few debts as I have right now I'll be able to pay for a car AND the rent, as long as both of them don't hike up to over $1,000. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to pay about $400 for a car and from $300 to $350 for shared rent, so with careful planning and "rearranging my expenses" (read: NOT going out to lunch to expensive restaurants all through the weekend) I'm sure I can deal with both things. I still have to get yet another diagnosis for my car's new fuck-up (this time I need an electromechanic), but the transmissions guy told me I still have a few months left in that ol' hunk of metal as long as I correct that shifting problem ASAP. Anyway my point is: don't put away your moving plans for long. I still have that as a priority. In fact, if my car's fully repaired, that new car I'm fantasizing about will have to wait until after we move. ;-) p.s.: If you need a new bed that badly, you can go ahead with that. We don't wanna be waking up your newborn niece with all those creaking noises :-P That’s where you’re wrong buddy.
