Monday, December 19, 2005 @ 11:22 pm by -DS-The dreaded command. I had to use it today, not because I wanted but because my computer was being real bitchy. The root of the problem this time was the DVD drive, whenever I tried to boot the computer it would freeze, it froze so much that the partition of the hard drive got real fucked up so I had no choice but to format and start all over again. To spice things up after I installed Windows I went to astalavista.com to search for a crack for SP2 and what I found was a real nice infection that took me a few hours to clean. Anyway, things are good now, and thanks to Kaiser I have a backup ready so I didn’t really lost anything but my time and a few neurons.

Ouch! today I paid for tuition, $380 direct to my credit card. I had to ask for a deferment because the real cost was $780 for a single class. But I prefer to pay for it myself instead of getting a student loan, I don’t want any more loans, it might take me longer to finish my master’s degree but I will be debt free…, almost. This time the class is going to be web based so I won’t have to deal with the parking spot problem or with the stress of getting stuck in the traffic jam on a test day. Instead I will have shitloads of work every week, yay….umm… wait a minute! fuck!

That is really cheap for tuition. I am paying a lot more for just one class this comming semester. I would trade with you anytime.
I like web based classes because I can do the work anytime I want but I do miss the human interaction.

Yeah I know its cheap compared to US standards but over here is a little bit different since our per capita income is a little lower;
in fact, Public University is even cheaper than that, it goes for like $90 per credit on a Masters Degree or something like that.

You might be able to, many people do that and then leave the island. Since we are a US territory you wont need passport or student permit.
