Week 3: The pain!!!
Friday, January 27, 2006 @ 8:28 am by DarK SouLAs I said last week, I took this week and will take the next one to see if I can increase my resistance so this week I increased the amount of time I use the cycle on the high levels (its heavier to pedal), it has 15 levels of hardship and I went all the way to 14 and stayed there for 6 minutes, which is no easy task because pedaling at that levels is REALLY hard. Plus I made sit-ups on Monday, Tuesday and today, Friday, 20 each day. The reason for doing them each other day was to be able to use the cycle at optimal performance, other way my leg muscles would be hurting to much for me to handle.
The diet was more or less the same as the past two weeks and my new weight is 260 pounds. So it’s official, I am loosing about one pound per week and that is ok. I want to maximize to 2 or 3 pounds per week but that will take some time. I am also thinking on jogging again, I like jogging more than being on a static cycle looking at my roof. But for that I will have to wake at least at 5:30AM and I am not ready to do that just yet so I am planning that maybe in three months I will be jogging again and use the cycle as a back-up in case of a rainy morning. I will also need an iPod for the jogging because sometimes I just get bored of day-dreaming while I jog.
Plans for next week:
- Increase to 30 situps
- Stay on the 14 level for at least 10 consecutive minutes
- Buy some weight equipment so I can exercise my arms while cycling

Wow!
I think you are doing awesome. Keeping in mind that you are building muscles too, that pound is like three in reality… ’cause muscles weighs more than fat.
Keep the good work!
