Rainforest

And FINALLY we went to El Yunque again and boy did we have fun! This time around we went as far as we could by car and we ended in Mt Britton Trail, from there you can get to the top the mountain in around an hour and a half, or so said one national park guard that was at the beginning of the trail welcoming people…, well, I would say that he was counting people in case they get lost. Anyway, he was right on the time estimate because it is a LONG fucking walk and it doubles in length because you are going up ALL the time.

We climbed for around half an hour through this slippery road and bumped with some people, most of them tourists. After around 40 minutes of climbing we found a small tower from which you could see as far as the city of San Juan, but my camera is not that strong so I didn’t even thought about taking a picture. From there you could even see the clouds over the forest, an amazing view.

After we got out the tower we decided to keep going up and we ended up there.

We went so high that you could see and feel the clouds all over you.

And after around 25 minutes of more climbing we arrived at the top and found a small Spanish Fort. I TRIED to take a picture from the view down below but it was impossible.

And that was petty much it. We started climbing at 3:00 PM exactly and arrived at the top at around 4:40 PM. While going down we missed a road and got lost so we keep walking down because there was no way in hell that we were going to go up again (at this point we were TOO fucking tired). The Sun started to set in and I don’t know about Kaiser but I was shitting on my pants because there are no lights in there (DUH is a fucking forest!) plus, people have really got lost on that forest a few too many times so next time we have to be really careful and watch were we are going. But we ran with good luck and ended on a main road –after an hour of being lost- that got us straight to the car. The trip ended at 6:10 PM. Three fucking hours walking, no wonder why my legs hurt so much, anyway, we are planning to repeat this once a month because this was a really good exercise, even tough now I feel like shit.

A small note:

If you are the one who wrote this or this, you should feel ashamed of yourself and you deserve that the next time you visit the forest you get lost to never be found again. I hope you die, cabrón. BTW, I hope that Tempo rots in jail forever.
