The truth will set you free…

This morning I was talking to my brother about the things I plan to do with the house and suddenly he tells me that he wanted to know “something”, that he knew it was none of his business but he had to ask because he was a meddler (that was a joke that he actually made) . At that point I already knew what he wanted to know so I just said “Ask me”.

Question:

Is that person, the guy that is going to move in, your boyfriend?

Response:

The answer to that is pretty obvious and the reason I never said anything is because I think is no ones business what I do in my privacy, but yes, he is my boyfriend.”

Then I asked him again, is there a problem or does it bothers you that I will bring him here? I don’t want to do anything that perturbs your peace, how does your wife feels about it?

He told me again that he does not have a problem with that, that his wife feels a little uncertain but that is because she does not know him and don’t know what kind of person he is to what I replied that I would never let anyone with questionable behavior inside my house to what he said that he trusted my “criteria” and that he was “ok” with it. Then he said “at least neither of you can get pregnant!!”… WTF!!!… He just confirmed that I am gay and he is making a joke about it?!?!! Grrrrr!!

Actually that joke gave me assurance that he is really OK with this and that it shouldn’t be much of a problem for the two of us to live there for a while. So now I have to start fixing the house so me and my boyfriend can start trying to make a baby.

Now the only thing that worries me is the reaction of my mother when she discovers the “truth”, but she will need to find that on her own because I won’t tell unless she asks me.
