Motherfucker…
Tuesday, March 28, 2006 @ 8:58 am by -DS-My co-worker has been “threatening” to resign for some time now but the fucking asshole picked the worst date to do it. I am suppose to go on vacation on April 17 thought the 21, just five days, well, four considering that the 17 is a holiday, but now its possible that my boss wont give me my vacations for that date because the fucking moron that is my co-worker will resign next week. That shouldn’t be a problem and I should be able to take my vacations because there is another programmer that can solve the problems for that four days, but since my boss is an insecure person that wont be the case. (The worst kind of boss you can have is the insecure type that can’t delegate work because he don’t trust anyone’s abilities).
The thing that angers me more is that Kaiser also took his vacations for that week so we could be together and visit parts of the island that we never seen before but now we will have to scrap our plans for a later date, if we have the chance. I should be happy for that guy because he found a *better job, but fuck you man, you just fucked me in the ass (and not in the good way) and I will get even with you fucking asshole. Oh yes I am a vengeful guy and I am very angry at you. Cabrón.
*Considering his coding skills his new job should be cleaning toilets…

Did you talk to your boss already? Tell him you already have plane tickets for those days and you cannot cancel them. If he insists you cancel your vacation, ask him to pay for the plane tickets……. nyuk, nyuk, nyuk……

That is what I plan to tell him, and yes, I talked to him several weeks ago, and reminded him last week by email.
If he refuses, well, he will be two programmers short

Yo me iria mas alla. Le dices que hicistes planes y cancelarlos conlleva cargos ($$) que definitivamente lo pagara la oficina porque fueron planificados de antemano. Pero antes de eso…:
If you have evidence of the communications between your boss and you regarding to your vacations before hand, use them and you will be able to defend yourself better.
By the way, did you already talk to your boss about this when your co-worker resigned?

Most of our communication has been verbal, except for the email reminder, anyway, if he don’t give me the vacations I won’t do anything, just start looking for another job and move on, that’s what I did last time.
And, the co-worker hasn’t resigned yet, he will do it next week if everything goes like he has planned, which I hope it won’t.
