Holy Spring Break Week…
Monday, April 10, 2006 @ 1:17 pm by -DS-Wo0o0o0o, Puerto Rican spring break is here!!!!, well, actually, it’s called “Holy Week” because our predominant religion is Roman Catholic and this is the date we are suppose to “celebrate” the death of Jesus, but almost no one gives a fuck about that anymore, I mean, I am a confirmed Catholic and I just ate a HUGE chicken breast (Catholic’s are not suppose to eat meat this week, I never knew why) so you can see how important those customs are to me. Anyway, MY spring break starts this Thursday and ends the Friday of next week, I still don’t know what to do on that week, probably go around the island and see if there is a guest house available or something like that, or go back to Seven Seas and have sex in the beach like last year(in Spanish), but what I do know is that I will get my ass tanned because right now it almost glows in the dark.

Mi amigo esta es la semana que aprovecho para comprar carne roja ya que esta en especial en todos lados. Hay BBQ el viernes!!!

Sacrificio de Semana Santa. Por eso es que supuestamente no se puede comer carne. Pero osttia, la gente come camarones, pescados caros etc, etc, etc. Eso no es un carajo de sacrificio. Cuando era catolico practicante, hubo una cuaresma que decidi no beber. Eso si fue un sacrificio para mi. (No es que sea alcoholico, pero ya uds. saben…)Cuarenta dias sin darme un palo, no es cascara de coco.

Entiendo que el pretexto religioso cristiano del ritual de no comer la carne esta semana es por el acto de sacrificio y de solemnidad (por lo muerte de Cristo). Pero esta semana la gente come muchisima variedades de mariscos y pescados de diferentes tipos y formas.Y…en grandes cantidafes. Muchos van a restaurantes para estos manjares.
Por ende…..donde esta el sacrificio de atragantarse mariscos en esta semana.
Para eso….entonces sigo comiendo carne. Es que simplemente no me gustan mucho los mariscos.

aunque me he leido la biblia entera(estuve recluido en un colegio catolico hasta 4to grado que me pude fugar) >>:)
