CRISIS!!!!!!!

How are things?

Well, there are supposedly 90K people jobless because the government can’t pay them, but the morning traffic seems like always.  Those 90K people are applying for unemployment, but the malls on the weekend were full, as always.  So, is the so called crisis real?

Yes it is, leadership crisis that is.  None of the so called “leaders” of the island seem to get along to find a solution to give the job back to those people, and worst yet, if they don’t find a solution to the budget crisis soon it could affect the private sector too because most private companies depend a LOT on government contracts.  ALL the politicians on the island put the party’s agenda above people’s problems and FINALLY that is catching on and people are realizing how absurd it is to be blindly loyal to a political party.

What do I think of this?

First of all most of the morons in the government, and I am talking about those who lost the jobs, had that coming.  Why?  Because they are lazy!, most of them don’t want to work or it takes them forever to do something simple, like clipping a paper, and the majority of them are under qualified for that job but because they licked some politicians ass they got it.  It would not surprise me if of those 90K people only 40K or 30K are able to retain their jobs once the crisis ends.

My situation?

Since I work on the private sector for a company that deals with health products and equipment we are going to be the last part of the economy to be affected because health always comes first.  But, since I work on the disposable end of the company, the IT department, once the company starts taking a hit we are going to be the first unemployed, but, and this is a HUGE but, this is also a great opportunity for the company to grow since the competition that was coming from the states (USA) wont want to do business here now because they will see the investment as a high risk, and that is good news for the company.

Anyway, if I loose my job I will make the jump to the states, I love the island and I don’t want to leave, but politics are ruining everything and I don’t want to waste my youth reconstructing or paying for something I didn’t do.

Soooo, where should I move?, Florida?, Texas?, California?… Hmmmm, so much to think!!!!
