Scared of the tax?
Saturday, November 18, 2006 @ 10:34 pm by -DS-So, a lot of people talked a lot of shit these past weeks about the brand new sales tax that started this past Wednesday (On my birthday!!), some people said that the commerce would be affected and that after Wednesday the malls were going to be deserted…
Well, this morning I needed to go to Compusa to get something and to my surprise (**rolleyes**) the parking lot was packed full, at 9:30AM…, dont people have anything better to do than shooping?…, oh yeah, I forgot, this is Puerto Rico and there is a shopping Mall every two miles, and I am not exaggerating.

If they add a 20% tax on cigarrettes and beer they will pay it anyway. And this black friday pandemonium will prevail on the malls!
