… and four months down to go.

The plan is to drive from Orlando, FL to Plano, TX and since we don’t know shit about driving in the US we bought a cute little TomTom. I already made the route and its going to take us around 20 hours, so that will be like two or three days travel because there is no way in hell we are driving that much time non stop. The most awesome thing about this little device is that it has gas stations, restaurants, hotels, even view points with its phone numbers so we should be ok. It would be nice if it had “redneck areas” so we could avoid those, but that would be too much, isn’t it?

It started out with a “HUGE” decrease in my income tax, and then shortly after that I got a job offer and left my current job at the time a few weeks later. Right after resigning I went on vacation to an awesome place in the east side of the island and on that same week one of my grandparents (my mothers dad) died. A few months later after my grandfather’s death, my grandmother (this time my dad’s mother) also died.

The rest of the year went uneventful and awesomely fast. In May, my boyfriend and I decided that we were going to leave the island but never set up a date. But after much thinking and consideration we decided that May 2008 was the most convenient date to leave, so I guess 2008 will be a much more exciting year.

So was 2007 good for me?

Well, I do miss my grandparents, but aside from that I think it was an “ok” year.

In 23 weeks I will miss my family.

In 23 weeks I will be scared as hell.

In 23 weeks I will be very anxious, moody, sad, happy and with lots of expectations.

In 23 weeks my life will change.
