El Yunque está compitiendo directamente con El Amazonas para ser una de las maravillas del mundo, ¿Que tiene el Yunque que no tiene, y supera, el Amazonas?

Hice este mismo comentario en Facebook y rápido me acusaron de no valorar mi cultura o mi “patria” y de menospreciar “lo nuestro”… are you fucking kidding me?

Esto no tiene que ver un carajo con cultura, o patria si no con reconocer tu lugar en el mundo, el Amazonas es el fucking pulmon del planeta pero noooo, por el simple hecho de estar en Puerto Rico el Yunque debe ser el bosque más importante del universo… give me a fucking break! Jodia mentalidad simplista, egocéntrica y llena de delirios de grandeza es que tiene la pobre isla del espanto hecha mierda.

Todos los idiotas que han votado para que el Yunque sea una maravilla están BIEN faltos de reconocimiento.

Seriously. It’s like we’re preparing for some inevitable “porn holocaust” and we feel the need to create our own “archive”.

Why do men feel the need to hoard dozens upon dozens of precious gigs of hard drive space in order to create their little empire of porn? I just thought of this because my computer is being repaired and i had to either delete or store most of my stuff.

Before you call me a hypocrite, I must admit that I, too, am guilty of this sin. I can’t tell you how many gigs exactly I got stored since my computer its being repaired, but last time I checked I had nearly 10GB of mostly movies. And my friend Ramon has probably twice that amount. That perv! lol

I can see the need for it in case the internet is down and you can’t visit your favorite pr0n sites when “the urge” hits. But when your collection reaches, say, 120GB of fapping material, possibly requiring an extra hard drive specifically for that task, I’d say we got a problem

El mamón cerró el blog pero este es su Twitter. Ah!, gotta love Web 2.0

El año lo comencé con planes de salir de Puerto Rico hacia los Estados Unidos lo cual me hizo apreciar un poco más a mi familia y la comida rica que tiene Puerto Rico, y por supuesto logré ver la última derrota de Roselló y la reacción de sus mamones seguidores para luego recibir un “tease” de lo que le pasaría a Canibal.  Luego de estó llegué a “La Recta Final“.  Termine con mi maestría el 19 de mayo, la cual pensé que nunca lograría terminar para luego pasar a mayo 29 y lo que sería el día más triste de mi vida.  No fue fácil despedirme de mi familia y honestamente no sé cómo no cancelé el vuelo en último minuto para quedarme junto a ellos.

Llegué a Florida alrededor de las 11:00PM y estuve estancado  dos semanas en un motel de mala muerte gracias a La Rosa Del Monte que se quedaron con mi carro más de lo esperado, pero una vez nos dieron el carrito llegamos a Texas más rápido de lo esperado y una vez llegue a mi nuevo apartamento tuve una gran realización, Puerto Rico es una soberana e innegable MIERDA.

Una vez en Texas comencé a buscar trabajo y luego de solo un mes de búsqueda logre obtener tres ofertas de las cuales obviamente escogí la que pensé más me convenía, Senior Programmer en Texas Instruments.  Una vez con trabajo comencé a comprar todo tipo de mierdas inecesesarias pero útiles para todo geek .  Luego de casi tres meses trabajando en TI me dieron “lay off”, y para colmo esto fue un día antes de mi cumpleaños, gracias al descabronamiento que tiene la economía.   Pero lo and behold, tres semanas después consigo un trabajo como contratista, es un contrato solo por dos meses pero paga muy bien y tengo bastantes libertades.

Este año logré dos objetivos que siempre he tenido en mente: Terminar la maestría y salir de la isla por lo cual puedo concluir que fue un año bastante bueno para mí, a pesar de las cosas negativas que me pasaron.

¿Qué me depara el 2009?

No tengo la más mínima puta idea. Comenzando el año la economía me va a traer retos interesantes pero me siento optimista y sobre todo feliz de estar aquí.

It’s been a long time since my last post and several things have changed since then.  My father is doing all right, he had pneumonia and if he had waited longer to get medical help he would have died.  But he is better now and out of the hospital.

OBAMA WON!! Wo0o0o!!

Now I can say that America is not so stupid, they made the right decision and I really hope he can make things better for the whole world and that I am glad to be on this country during these historic times.

Puerto Rico is almost Blue (PNP) and I am glad for selfish reasons, my mother will be able to stay working for several more years,  I hope until I get stable enough so I can take care of them, economically speaking.  Other than that, I don’t give a fuck about what happens there.

And last but not less important, I lost my job.  Just after three months of working at Texas Instruments they layoff most of their contractors, about 20% of their work force worldwide.  I am not all that worried because I was able to rebuild my savings so I can stay afloat for several months more until I find a new gig.  Already started sending resumes and might have my first interview next week, so things are not all that bad.

And!!!! I got to see a real autumn! Trees look so beautiful on all those different colors, I might take some pictures this weekend before they lose all the leaves.

Por suerte ya estoy llenando la alcancía de nuevo así que estoy preparado para cualquier eventualidad que tenga que volver a Puerto Rico de emergencia, o darle dinero a mis padres para que cubran los gastos, y esta fue una de las razones para venir a trabajar acá.  Still, me siento triste porque no puedo estar alla con el.

Espero que no sea nada serio, te quiero viejo.

Tengo que averiguar quienes son mis congresistas para espamearlos con email.  Ese bailout es la estupidez más grande que he visto en mi vida.
